Meg Harper paints with a fun, stylized brush stroke branding her animal and landscape paintings as “Contemporary Western Impressionism with a playful twist of GREEN”. Her “canvases” are re-purposed tin roofing, street signs, and old cabinet doors, protecting the very nature she vividly portrays in high vibrational uplifting colors. It’s so fun to transform materials and peoples’ emotions. Meg loves telling people they can hang her art outdoor as well, another bonus of reclaimed materials. She says our connection to nature and wildlife, (including our pets) is essential to our existence on this planet. She believes this animal and nature link heals us in ways we can’t even comprehend. She says “I always feel better after connecting with an animal or walking in the woods, sometimes the memory stays with me for years.” She gives her many collectors’ paintings with a healing magic formula of animals and nature, bright joy filled acrylic paints on materials that are repurposed, recycled and reused. This healing art combo satisfies her and her many savvy environmental spirited collectors.
