My relationship with Marigold’s began as a total fan-girl. For over five years, every time I visited Breck for the summer, I would head straight there to hunt for "treasures" to paint on. I’m not much of a shopper normally, but this place makes my heart sing! I’ve found incredible pieces there, like a pair of ornate, vintage card tables that I eventually transformed with my own signature style. Every time I wandered through their charming aisles, I thought, “This would be the perfect home for my art.”
I’ll admit, I played it a little like a secret admirer for a long time. I left business cards and little "love notes" with the staff over the years, hoping to get a call, but the universe had its own timeline. Marigold’s is always buzzing with happy energy and busy shoppers—which is fabulous for them, and as it turns out, now fabulous for me!
The breakthrough finally happened last summer during the Breckenridge July Art Festival. The owners, including the wonderful Lisa, were doing a "fairy dust" run before opening their own doors, popping into booths to share love and local support. They adored my booth! After a few months of aligning the planets and exchanging emails, the timing was finally right.
I am absolutely over the moon to announce that a collection of Meg Harper prints is now available at Marigold’s! It is the perfect marriage of styles—my vibrant, happy animals fitting right in among their curated mix of farmhouse funk and handmade gems.
